History & Legend

A Siddha Peetha atop a hill overlooking Haridwar, associated in legend with the goddess born from the mind (mansa) of sage Kashyap; a cable car (udankhatola) was later added for pilgrim access.

Divine Significance

One of Haridwar's most visited shrines, offering panoramic views of the Ganga as it enters the plains.
